Hanging On

Some 24 hours ago, I was in a gut-wrenching state of confusion. Or should I call it a state of shock. To stabilise myself A.S.A.P.; I took a vacation at a resort spa somewhere in South.

If I were me 24 hours ago, I could have slapped my face with sense, and got spared of a day of loneliness I thought I could never bear. I am currently at the rooftop of a resthouse overlooking the serene beach, trying to cheat on life. I realized that I can have a small cup of tea while sitting on a relaxing chair and feel like I own the beach right before my eyes. The beach along which I walked alone this morning.

You might have had long walks by the beach before but definitely it's not with me. Because my strolls along the shore are boring as I take those times to ponder about the small things I don't usually pay attention to. My beach walks taught me that water is the best-tasting drink in the world, contrary to popular belief. But those moments, old-fashioned as they may seem, have saved me from drowning.

I love your wise thoughts. If you spoke Finnish I could discuss with you much more. But I understand everything you say.

Water really is the best-tasting drink in the world. If we understood that meaning better we would feel better.

I wish you all the best. You know what is important and you always do your best:)

The water lapping on the shore should help to relax you while you take stock of your life and realize things are not as bad as they seem.
I hope not anyway.
Enjoy your break, and release your tensions, with more than water. Have a few beers. lol
Take care.

Sometimes our best insights come our of moments of confusion when we are forced to cut to the core of the matter...

Sorry for your unhappiness, but it does seem you've worked through the reasons for it and are well on your way to recovery...

Best wishes!

My dear, I do hope you are feeling better today. Try to get rid of those tensions. I know from experience hoe hard it is to let go of, but they make you sick. I would nopt want that for you, my friend.

Yeah I feel you on that one. Beach walks are the best. Especially, when you have that space to yourself somewhat. I haven't been out to the beach at all this past summer. I'm long overdue.

sometimes it takes immersing ourselves fully into our 'shadows' to recognize the portals of light....it is why we visit with others in the 'etheric spaces'....

you are a beautiful soul, Sasha.....remember I say this when you doubt sanity among crises.

Enjoy your rest. It is "you time". Walking has been proven to be excellent for your whole self, especially your mind. I agree, I love drinking water. It also is good for you. Drink up!

We have to hang on, and while we hang on we must appreciate the beauty around us. Thats what keeps me going on, appreciating what I have around. Take care always :)

Close your eyes, Make a wish.
Make a wish that, there's always happiness for you and no sadness. Let god shade aways all the sadness from your life. Your happiness is what is everything for someone. Be cheerfull. Smile always. You are blessedwith good things. Take care of yourself.

It is good that you can get a day of relaxing. Any more I just seem to b relaxing most of the time. I hope my son will accept his album I made for him but if he doesn't I can do no more except be here in Lincoln, Ne. and him in Texas. If I knew what happened it would ease my mind a little but I have no idea what I did to deserve his idea, that I did something wrong. Sorry this about you on your blog but you commented on mine and wanted to let you know I appreciate it so much. Monday is my 80th Birthday and I need my son to know we may not have that much time left.

I agree with you on the fact that water is the best tasting drink. Nothing refreshes you like a glass of cold water.
Solitude, when we look at the positive side of it, is just spending time with our own self. We can try and make it productive.. :)
I appreciate this article.. and I hope yo have a nice time there.

P.S : Thanks for visiting my blog. Do read the other articles when you find time. One of my articles 'Troglodyte' is about solitude.

Cheers
